Job Summary:

The Manager is responsible for applying strong logistics expertise to navigate and resolve complex manufacturing and logistics challenges. This role requires the ability to analyze detailed operational issues while maintaining a strategic view of broader business objectives. Working closely with the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and cross‑functional teams, the Manager will leverage established processes and analytical tools to translate business data into actionable insights that support effective decision‑making. The Manager will also ensure that processes and tools are implemented and utilized consistently across all manufacturing locations.
 

This is an onsite position that can be located at our York, PA or Brisol, PA plant.
 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Analyze current logistics and transportation processes to identify inefficiencies, key cost drivers, and service gaps.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance, reduce transit times, and strengthen cost control.
  • Utilize data, KPIs, and reporting tools to monitor performance and support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Lead root‑cause analyses and implement corrective actions for service failures, delays, and cost overruns.
  • Support the deployment and optimization of transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics technologies.
  • Complies with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and any job or department specific SOPs.
    • SOPs may cover the areas of (but are not limited to)
      • Employee Health and Safety
      • GFSI (Safe Quality Food packaging) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all manufactured packaging.
      • SGP (Sustainable Green Printer) environmental regulatory procedures and SOP’s
  • Must work within productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
  • Special Projects & other duties as necessary

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with required experience using business intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights for non‑technical audiences

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in supply chain, managed logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of truckload and LTL rate structures.
  • Proven ability to develop robust analyses that translate into actionable business solutions.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and build strong relationships across financial and operational teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Experience with ERP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
